400 major and prominent companies of Iran, that are known as the most successful commercial and industrial units, were introduced in a conference in the presence of Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce and his deputies. KPIC’s PR reports that based on the statistics and performance of the companies in 2011 and ranking announced by Iran’s Industrial Management Organization, KPIC was ranked as the country’s 166th prominent company. Based on the presented statistics and information, KPIC with 659,557,2 million rials sales, was selected as the 166th among 400 outstanding companies of the country. In this conference, Managing Director of Industrial Management Organization said:” in addition to sales value that is the principle criterion of ranking, 26 other financial and credit indexes have been investigated in the process of ranking Iran’s greatest companies. Managing director of Industrial Management Organization also mentioned categories of banks and credit institutions and transportation and automobile parts, as the first two industrial groups regarding employment and remarked: first to third positions regarding export value were allocated to Petrochemicals with 43%, Petroleum products with 3/18% and Investment companies and financial intermediaries with 17/8% share. He added that:”three categories of investment companies and financial intermediaries, banks and credit institutions and petrochemical companies are respectively the first three industrial groups in terms of profitability.
