The fourth Healthy Work festival and award admitting ceremony to organizations which try for creating supporting and health and safety promoting work environments by choosing a “healthy work” approach, was held in 4th and 5th February 2013 in Tehran medical university’s Razi international gatherings center, with heartwarming supports of industry managers and experts and directors of science associations, specially Dr, Fatemeh Rakhshani, manager of Health Education and Promotion Bureau of Health ministry and also Dr. Reza Ezattian , Director of Professional Health and Special Professions Institute.. KPIC’s public relations reports that in the closing ceremony of this festival, KPIC achieved Supporter of Healthy Work2 plaque and was ranked as excellent among companies present in this festival. It’s worth noting that, near three decades has passed since safety measures and professional health was first applied in Iran and the world and choosing these approaches has led to the promotion of society and work force’s health. But because of some reformations in professional safety and health, since 3 years ago “world health organization” has proposed a new framework, called “Healthy Work Environment”. Lecturer of the opening of this festival was Dr.Khani Jazni, President of HSE faculty of Shahid Beheshti Medical University. Then Dr.Ezattian, while mentioning world health organization’s new approach to health of work environment, referred to healthy work environment concepts. The first day of the festival continued with scientific speeches of different experts, including Dr.Berenji, Dr.Tabatabaie, Dr.Khodadad Kashi, Dr.Amani, Dr.Mazaheri, Dr.Firouzi and Dr.Sheikholeslam, director of Nutrition, Health and Development Association and member of Health Supportive Nutrition and Food whose speech faced great enthusiasm of participants. But the second day started completely differently from the first; this time lecturers were managing directors and higher managers of companies, which won “Healthy Work, grade 2” award, who shared their experiences for creating “a work environment supporting and promoting health and safety” and then Mrs.Keshavarz, member of Scientific Board of Shahid Beheshti Medical University, referring to the experiences presented by the organizations and scientific documentations, described the basis of creating a “healthy work environment”. Then the award presenting ceremony started with the national anthem of Islamic Republic of Iran and march songs by Air Army forces and Dr.Shojaei and Dr.Rakhshani’s speech.
