KPIC was selected the prominent exporter of the province

KPIC’s public relations department reports that in the ceremony of appreciation of prominent exporters of Kermanshah, Governor-General of Kermanshah, presented the appreciation plaque to Mohammad Reza Mirahmadi, KPIC’s managing director. In this ceremony Kermanshah’s Governor-General said: “we should teach today’s knowledge and effective contact to businessmen and exporters.” Seyed Dadvash Hashemi, pointing to the existing sanctions, remarked that “although present conditions create obstacles, if there were no sanctions, Iran was neither a producer nor an exporter.” He mentioned employment and richness of production cycle as advantages of exporting and added that: “while this year we have had bankroll problems in the country, these problems cannot stop Iran from achieving its exporting goals. Production has its own difficulties and besides it, we should pay attention to export and provide its necessary infrastructures. Creating infrastructures for transportation, foundation of banks and exchange companies and their cooperation with exporters, creation and development of border markets,…etc. are among facilities required for exporters that governor-general mentioned. Jahangir Shahmoradi, Director of Kermanshah Industry, Mines and Trade Organization, while evaluating exporting state of non-petroleum goods in the country as desirable, said: “in the first half of this year, 37 million tons goods, valuing 20 billion dollars have been exported to other countries and show a 4% decrease.” He added:” in the same period, 19 million tons of goods, valuing 26/4 million dollars have been imported to the country which show 10% decrease.” As he said, most of the country’s exporting good include: liquid propane, Polyethylene, water soluble urea,...etc. which are exported to Iraq, UAE, China, Afghanistan, India,…etc. In this ceremony,Abdolreza Mesri, Deputy Manager of export fraction of Iran’s Majlis, remarked “export encourages the producer and drives production cycle of the country.” Then, Keivan Kashefi, Head of Kermanshah’s Chamber of Commerce, pointing to potentials of the province for developing export, said:” non-petroleum export should be the basis of provinces’ strategic development.”
