KPIC’s public relations reports that in March 2011, standard items were conducted in the company’s laboratory by Pishgaman Farapouya and in 23th and 24th June 2012, they passed final audit, based on ISO/IEC17025 standard requirements, in the presence of Turkish crediting reference audit team, Turkak, and Pishgaman Farapouya’s managing director, Project manager and project expert. Through settlement and application of requirements of this international standard of laboratory verification and technical qualification and after fulfilling necessities of technical and quality management system, KPIC’s Laboratory has defined its doctrine as meeting the requirements of this standard. This unit has specified its quality goals based on quality doctrine in order to improve customer respect and satisfaction through providing high-quality services and applying international and professional procedures. It should be noted that ISO/IEC17025 is an international standard of quality that is developed for application in laboratories. This standard is substituted for EN 45001 and Guide 25. Implementation of ISO/IEC17025, while facilitating detection of sources of error, allows labs to assure the quality of their results by choosing appropriate methods. Moqqadasi, Director of Public Relations, remarked:”acquisition of ISO/IEC17025 causes the test and evaluation system of the complex to be certified and confirmed by Iran’s Standard and Industrial Research Institute as a national reference that is certified all over the world; Also, with receiving this certificate, other industries and petrochemical companies can perform comparative studies and even proficiency tests with KPIC’s laboratory. It’s worth noting that KPIC’s lab, had previously managed to acquire qualification of Standard Organization and receive Obligatory Standard certificate of urea and ammonia.
