The third Petrochemical Industry Excellence Festival was held in May 2013 at Tehran’s International Conference Centre. KPIC’s public relations reports that in this festival, 44 contractor, manufacturing and supplementing companies, 33 service, support and production companies, 10 companies of different parts of petroleum industry and 7 petrochemical plans were present and KPIC ,in its second participation, acquired 2starred appreciation letter along Amirkabir, Fanavaran, Morvarid and Rahbaran petrochemical companies. This award has three levels of statue, appreciation letter and commitment to excellence license. Companies that have completely applied organizational excellence model or comprehensive project management maturation model and through their performance in at least three last years, have demonstrated continuous development in their activities, after acquiring determined scores, receive golden, silver and crystal statues. In this festival no company achieved this ranking. It should be noted: companies that have reached progress toward organizational excellence, if acquiring determined scores, receive appreciation letters with 2 to 5 stars and companies that have started excellence path and with application of self-evaluation methods, have extracted points of strength and promotable fields, and prioritized development plans, manage to receive commitment To excellence license.
